Dileep's Mr. Marumakan first review

Hi All..

Today I would like to review the latest film by Janapriya Nadan Dileep... "Mr. Marumakan". I was quite skeptical about the lead lady in the movie.. as it is played by the young actress.. or should I say child actor.. Sanusha. But the film seems to have come out good. The film is shot in and around Ernakulam, Ottapalam area.

The lead role is played by Dileep.. who is the Marumakan as expected. The film is a humor packed family entertainer. Dileep's character is that of a lawyer Ashok Raj, whose interest is in reviving a drama troupe named Bharatha Kalakshetram which was earlier run by his family. Dileep's brother Babu Raj, who is played by Biju Menon had taken some loan for his venture and is now having the pay back the loan. Sanusha's father in the film, who is  a bank officer is the one taking legal action against Babu to repay the loan. The film revolves around this broad situation.. and things that happen afterwards.

Sanusha say about the her role in the film: "So far, my roles were of a village girl. But in Mr. Marumakan, I play a very modern character. That does not mean I have gone ultra modern. I play an arrogant and proud daughter who is back from Paris after finishing a course in fashion designing. It's a family entertainer peppered with comedy and romance."

The main cast of the film include Dileep, Sanusha, Bhagyaraj, Khushboo, Sheela, Biju Menon and Nedumudi Venu. The story is written by the duo Udayakrishna-Siby K. Thomas and is directed by Sandhya Mohan. The film is produced by Varnachitra Big Screen. The music for the film is done by Suresh Peters and Rajamani. The songs in the film are quite good.

Its a good watch.. and you would enjoy it..
