Review on Mammotty's Venicile Vyapari


Venicile Vyapari is an upcoming Malayalam movie of superstar Mammotty. The film is based in Alappuzha, which is popularly known as the Venice of the East, hence the name of the film is aptly titled.


The film tells the story of  a man who was a police constable, who later turns to a businessman settled in Alappuzha. Mammotty plays the role of a character named Pavithran. The actor will appear in three different looks in the film. The film is set in the mid-80's, and the actors would be wearing the dress of that era. Kavya Madhavan would be playing the role of Mammotty's heroine in the film. Her character is the union leader of coir worker in Alappuzha. Mammotty is in love with her, however is not able to tell her his feelings.


The other lead roles are played by Poonam Bajwa, Jagathy Srikumar, Suraj Venjaranmood, Salim Kumar, to name a few important characters. This is the fourth film that Mammootty stars in Shafi's film. The earlier flicks were Thommanum Makkalum, Mayavi and Chattambinadu. This is the first film that James Albert has written for a Mammootty-starrer film.


The music for the film is done Bijibal. The film will feature a remix of the song "Kannum Kannum" from the film Angadi. The film is expected to be in theaters in the first week of November 2011.
